For the Lord is Risen

Easter Sunday we started out the day right with a good Sermon from Pastor Tucker and Church service at Concordia Lutheran Church. As we celebrate Easter we are reminded of God's love which was shown for us by his son's death on the cross. Jesus died because of our sinfulness. He took our rightful place on the cross and substituted his life for ours so that we who believe and confess in him will have eternal life. (Romans 10:9)

Then on to the egg hunting. Being the only girl in the family, we had to make sure that Miss Chandler got the most eggs....and she did. Easter hunting this year was sure to put a smile on all the kids faces, as Mimi and Yaya stuffed over 100 eggs for the kiddos to find. The daddies had the privileged of hiding them all!!!!

Chandler got a cute new bathing suit from Grammy and Pappy and the movie tangled from Mimi and Yaya. The kids got several other "necessary" gifts as their grandparents find any and every opportunity to spoil them rotten.....Yall are the best!!!
We had a Pinata and the kids all stood there and picked out just the right pieces of candy....

All Brooks wanted was tootsie roll pops!

The favorite toy of the day, a harmonica.

Grandma and Papaw Fuller loving on our baby boy.

The day would not have been complete with a little swimming...

And a minor casualty. Creed was swinging in the swing outside and much to everyone's surprise, a yellow jacket decided to make a nest under it.When he started swinging the yellow jackets attacked him and bit him on both hands. Thanks to an old remedy of backing soda and ammonia, the sting was not as bad as it could have been. Poor little man.
