For the Lord is Risen

Easter Sunday we started out the day right with a good Sermon from Pastor Tucker and Church service at Concordia Lutheran Church. As we celebrate Easter we are reminded of God's love which was shown for us by his son's death on the cross. Jesus died because of our sinfulness. He took our rightful place on the cross and substituted his life for ours so that we who believe and confess in him will have eternal life. (Romans 10:9)

Then on to the egg hunting. Being the only girl in the family, we had to make sure that Miss Chandler got the most eggs....and she did. Easter hunting this year was sure to put a smile on all the kids faces, as Mimi and Yaya stuffed over 100 eggs for the kiddos to find. The daddies had the privileged of hiding them all!!!!

Chandler got a cute new bathing suit from Grammy and Pappy and the movie tangled from Mimi and Yaya. The kids got several other "necessary" gifts as their grandparents find any and every opportunity to spoil them rotten.....Yall are the best!!!
We had a Pinata and the kids all stood there and picked out just the right pieces of candy....

All Brooks wanted was tootsie roll pops!

The favorite toy of the day, a harmonica.

Grandma and Papaw Fuller loving on our baby boy.

The day would not have been complete with a little swimming...

And a minor casualty. Creed was swinging in the swing outside and much to everyone's surprise, a yellow jacket decided to make a nest under it.When he started swinging the yellow jackets attacked him and bit him on both hands. Thanks to an old remedy of backing soda and ammonia, the sting was not as bad as it could have been. Poor little man.

I like to rock and ROLL.

This little man is off the charts....At his 2 month check up he weighted 14.15lbs (98th percentile), 23 in long (56th percentile). I do not think that there is an inch of his body that does not have some major pinchable areas. From his wrist to his shoulder he has 5 rolls. I am not use to seeing a baby that is so big, Chandler and Creed were both so itty bitty for so long. It is fun having a little chunker, it just makes more spaces to cover him in kisses. It has been such a blessing to have this little guy in our family. He is the most content easy going little man. He is constantly smiling and cooing for no other reason than he is happy to see you. He sleeps almost through the night (6:45-4 (eats)then back to sleep until 8:30). At just 2 months he is wearing the clothes that Creed wore last summer, thats right he is wearing size 12M and he is only 2 months.

Cohen has the most solemn stare, but apparently this is exactly the look that Cody always had on his face when he was a baby. He is happy, but looks at you with so much intent. It is like he is already trying to figure everything out so he just stares with a little wrinkled brow. According to the Fuller's all his facial expressions look just like his daddy's.....I guess that is ok with me he is pretty handsome if I do say so myself.

I cannot get enough of those big blue eyes.

COOKIES!!!!!

We decided to attempt "Making" cookies with the kiddos for Easter. Well me made a few, but had more fun licking icing and pouring sprinkles everywhere. Thanks Claire for letting us turn your house into a cookie war zone. It was so much fun watching the kiddos get so excited about have millions of cookies right at their finger tips. At one point I looked at the cookies and saw that there were about 15 cookies with one bite taken out of each one.....I guess they had to try all of them. Just what any kid would do!!!!!
Creed was so overwhelmed with all the cookies right at his finger tips that all he could think to do was share with MIMI. Then he finally figured it out. (See Below)

I guess that Chandler was sharing all her germs since she was licking the spoon that she was icing with, Oh well....
All the BIG cousins!!!

Just in case Cohen was lonely, Chandler was letting him "BE IN CHARGE" of baby 2 and Allie her baby dolls. He doesn't seem the least bit phased. I just want to tell you, that if you are thinking about having a third baby and you are on the edge about it, go for it because they are so care free and loving. This guy just goes with the flow wherever we are or whatever we are doing.
Just can't stop kissing her brother. She already wants to know when I can have another......HOLD ON little girl, mommy is a little busy right now.
