Officially an End!

So at my check up last week with my OB doctor, we set a day for delivery! Without going into much detail, baby Cohen is on the smaller end of the spectrum and would benefit from being born a little early so that he can start growing big and strong on the outside. So Cohen David will make his arrival.......

Christmas Happenings.

Our Christmas was a wonderful one this year. It was so amazing to watch the kids learn about the true meaning of Christmas. I never would have imagined that Children could comprehend the story of Jesus and his birth. We had such an amazing holiday. I have to say that December is all around my favorite month. I love Christmas lights, music (starting right after Halloween), decorations, the spirit, BONUS', presents, Santa, but mostly of all getting to remember that all of this was made possible because of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Creed has learned to pray, I have to say that this has to be one of my favorite moments in the day. Chandler will usually start the prayer which goes something like this. Dear Jesus, Thank you for Mommy, Daddy, Chandler, and Creed. I pray that Cohen comes out OK, in Jesus name we pray AMEN...Then Cody will finish. Creed just sits there folding his hands with a huge smile on his face.

So We saw Santa.....Creed was not too sure about this man with the white beard! Chandler sat there and told Santa EVERYTHING that she wanted.
One of these things included a PINK gun. I have now informed Cody that sine he is fixing to have 2 boys, he is not allowed to try and make my ONLY little girl, his buddy! I have to say though Chandler loves to go hunting. We have decided that she is going to make the perfect wife because she loves to help me cook, loves babies and everything about them, but also loves the outdoors and hunting.

Our little Angels. Chandler 3 1/2, Creed 18 Months

This will be the last Christmas with 2 Kiddos, next year we get to experience the joy of 3 Kids faces light up.

At Concordia Lutheran Church, Christmas Eve service. It was very important to us that before we did any present opening, we reiterated the true meaning of Christmas. Often times it is easy, especially with small children to get wrapped up with Santa Claus and forget to teach the kids why we are getting to open all of the presents. Concordia is so awesome, they know that this can often be an antsy time for Children so they do a Christmas Pageant to tell the story of baby Jesus.

Things Worth Rembering

Chandler: "Mommy when I eat food, I grow poop. But When you eat food you grow Cohen."

Every night when we are putting Chandler to bed she says, "Mommy, I want you to tickle scratch...as light as you can."

Chandler: "Mommy don't worry that Cohen does not have a room yet, he can just sleep with me in my bed. When he wakes up because he is hungry, I will just let you feed him and then I will snuggle with him all night long."

~Creed has every toy in the world that a little boy should play with but he prefers to walk around with a spatula in each hand.

Every morning we sleep until Creed decides that the day should start...usually around 7:45. He will wake up and be the happiest baby screaming Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy in his highest pitched happiest voice until someone goes into his room to get him. When you finally go to his room to get him, you are greeted with a big smile and then he runs back and forth in him bed wanting you to try and pretend that you can't catch him. When I finally pick him up, he will give me about 5 open mouth slobbery kisses and a big hug. Usually by this time Chandler is hiding under the covers waiting on her brother to come and find her. We will go to the bed and Creed acts like we do not do the same thing every morning. He goes on to pretend that he really believes that she is still sleeping and will pull back the covers and lay a big wet one right on her lips to wake her up. Then Chandler magically wakes up and he starts screaming in delight that he just woke her up and starts bouncing on the bed screeching and waiting for us to start playing.

I have to say, even though I know that this is what is going to happen every day, I never get tired of it. I think it is the cutest thing that they both love each other so much and act like they have not seen each other for days each morning that they wake up. I love the interaction that these two have. I could not imagine what life would look like with only one child.
